SWIHA Newsletter	Summer 2010

On the 29^th - 31^st May 2010 we are running our annual junior ice hockey tournament at the Link Centre in Swindon. Teams from all over the UK will be attending this prestigious event.

We are looking for sponsorship for this event from local business and individuals and we are hoping that you will be able to help us sponsoring a tournament trophy, the cost of which varies from £50 to £200 or you can place either a full page (£100) or half page (£50) advertisement within the tournament programme.

If you would not like to sponsor a trophy or place an advert then maybe you could consider making a donation of the auction or raffle prize that we can use for fund raising during this event, any help you or your company might be able would be most appreciated.

Trials

This years trials will be held on Monday 7th and 14th of June.

End of Season Presentation

The SWIHA End of Season Presentation night is on Friday 25th June at The Supermarine Club

7pm - 11pm

Contributions of food are normally done by each team and will be organised closer to the event.

Entrance Fee £5 per family on the door.

Pre Season Training Camp

The Camp Will run From August the 23rd to the 27th

This Camp is intended for every member of every team and is only open to SWIHA players.

We require a commitment that you will be attending by the end of May, please e-mail teamrepco@swiha.co.uk confirming your intention to attend, if we do get enough players committing then the camp cannot take place.

This week long course at the Link Centre will include;
Daily on ice training sessions,
Training with your own team.

Off ice sessions including;
Skills,
Stamina,
Video sessions to prepare you for the season.

The Cost of the course will be between £75 and £100 the final price will depend on the number of players who attend the course.

Please register using the attached form and pay your £50 deposit by the end of May.
